Abstrak

Nusantara terkenal memiliki sejarah peradaban yang agung. Penemuan-penemuan arkeologi dan kajian yang membuktikannya banyak dijumpai baik dalam museum, artikel ilmiah, buku, maupun media digital. Informasi dan pengetahuan tentang kebudayaan masa lampau tersebut sangat penting sebagai pelajaran bagi bangsa Indonesia dalam memahami karakter budaya dan nilai luhur yang ditinggalkan oleh nenek moyang di bumi nusantara ini. Generasi saat ini lebih menyukai mengkonsumsi informasi secara digital dibandingkan dengan membaca buku. Informasi visual menjadi penting saat alih wahana media informasi. Kurangnya informasi sejarah, pengetahuan mengenai karakter budaya, dan nilai-nilai luhur bangsa Indonesia akan memicu timbulnya bencana identitas bangsa. Bangsa Indonesia akan menjadi bangsa yang tidak memiliki ciri khas atau budaya yang unik lagi. Oleh karena itu strategi pencegahan kurangnya pemahaman identitas bangsa perlu dirancang dan dikaji formulasinya yang sesuai dengan karakteristik bangsa Indonesia dengan keragamannya. Penelitian ini akan memformulakan kajian literatur secara sistematis mengenai perkembangan strategi adaptasi media digital dan basis data arkeologi di dunia yang akan dipaparkan dan ditelaah kesesuaiannya bagi informasi yang ada di Indonesia. Media digital yang tak lekang waktu dan dapat diakses dimana saja sangat strategis sebagai solusi. Sehingga hasil dari penelitian ini dapat menjadi acuan penerapan strategi digital bagi pengembangan informasi, media, dan basis data arkeologi di Indonesia.
